Default Doors won't unlock after shut off

2005 Jetta GLS. All doors lock after moving @ about 10MPH. Good. After vehicle shut off, all doors will NOT unlock automatically. Drivers side actuator has been replaced due to interior lights not working. That's fixed, but now doors won't unlock automatically. Please advise, Thanks.

The autolock feature is very annoying hearing all doors lock once you reach 5 mph. I disabled mine in the MFD setting.

If you don't have this feature in yours then you need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to enable it and to do a full AutoScan.

I don't have a problem with the auto lock feature (which works). I just wish the auto-UNLOCK feature would work. The thing is, is that it did work BEFORE I changed the door lock actuator. Why won't it work now. That's the question. Thanks for the info.

If it worked before you did the door lock actuator recheck all connections.

I'll check connections but doubt there's any issues. What about the door lock actuator. I used a comparable replacement actuator. Not a genuine OEM actuator. I'm afraid it may be the issue. $30 off e-bay.
