On my A4 Audi I was able to program the on board computer to open all door locks whenever the key was removed from igintion. Is there any way to similarily program the Jetta Y2006 model ?

I'm in Australia and have a 2006 FSI turbo. When I picked up my Jetta it had auto-locking set to off. The service department at my dealer set it to "on" at 20kph when I asked. Whenever I remove the key from the ignition, all doors unlock. I'd recommend you speak to your VW Dealer and get them to change the settings for you.
