I had my car broken into and durning the process they busted my passanger side door lock.[:@] My remote starter hasnt worked for years [:'(], so i am now left with a car that will not lock shut. [>:]Has anyone had experince with replacing the doorbarrel lock?

The only thing i can recommend is to take it to a VW mech. or get a manual try to fix it yourself. I use Haynes Manuals but chiltons are good too.

 

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a dealer item.
