Default Dented Transmission Pan on '06 2.5L auto

So I have an 06 Jetta 2.5 with an automatic transmission. I did something stupid, and during my last oil change they pointed out that the transmission pan has been dented. I've been driving it for the last 2 or 3 months like that with no shifting problems. I did'nt take a pic so I can't show what it looks like, but the dent is small. You can see the corner of the pickup tube imprented against the dent. Should I really worry about it?

Thanks!

Kelcey

Is it leaking? If not it's not that big of a deal also replacing it really isn't that hard. IF you have to replace it's just a few bolts then pry off very carefuly.Sand off gently all reminence ofthe old seal. If you have a replacement then apply silicone with seal on the back and bolt on. thats it. but if it's not leaking tranny fluid and the dent is small i wouldn't worry about it. the shop will tell you anything in order to make more money.
