Hi i am a new member. I just had a yellow warning light illuminate on the dash , a round circle with two broken lines ( semi circles)one oneach side of the circle. Also,engine light is on, car serges occasionally
at a constant speed and idles badly on wet days when first started. Any ideas. Thanks

 

P.S. Jetta is 2001 2.0L

 

Moisture on ignition coils possibly, use the free software vag com en to diagnose the code

 

That software can be found easy just type it in a search engine

 

The circle with 2 dashes on either side is the brake wear indicator that tells you to checnge your brake pads.
