Default Couple questions... Turbo?

I am going to be buying a Jetta, either new or 1 year old. I was looking at the 2.0T with DSG, i was inquiring to the maintenance on the engine, common repair problems, and overall reliability compared to the 2.5?

Also do the 2.0T retain their residual value better?

Thanks so much in advance for your help

the 2.0T is a great motor. It runs thru oil quick, so you'll want to keep an eye on the oil level. It also wants 91+ fuel .... while the 2.5 is fine with 87.

Resale wise, yes: its a higher package motor, and not available with "base" features. So, of course it will have a higher resale value.
