hi, nice forum. just got a 68 bug yesterday for $600. engine rebuilt 2500 miles ago. i was told the car is a 1 owner ( second guy did'nt register it ). second guy said first owner was getting out of service in 68, and before he returned to the states, bought the car in germany and it shipped to the states. is there any way of confirming this? vin # (which i cannot find on the car, just the title ) or something else. also, can you tell me what size engine is, and finally,it does'nt has a gas gauge. is this common? thanks for any info josh
