I do a lot of driving for my work, and I have been looking at several possibly options for a work car, and the 2009 TDI sportwagon seems like the winner at this point.

Those of you who own the newer TDI jettas:

Are there any recurring problems with the car?
Are there any major ergonomic or cosmetic issues with the car?
What is your highway mileage realistically?
How much did you pay?
How long between major services?

I have the TDI version. It has leatherette and Nav with the DSG. I have had no problems with this car. It is very handy to use and handles superbly. I am getting about 42 mpg in mixed city suburban driving. On the highway, it easily gives 49-50 mpg. I feel this is an incredible buy for the money. Paid 1k under sticker. Only one dealer had and claims he may not get another. Hope this helps.
