EPC is "Electronic Power Control". Do your break lights work when you hit the brakes?? The light will come on because of a faulty brake light switch. somewhere there is a problem with the distribution of elect power

yes they stay on. i was told that buy undoing the battery and then reconnection it fast can make those lights come on and i did have to do that so i disconnected the batter and reconnected them and the lights when off but about an hour later they came back on.

ok so you have an EPC light, AND your brake lights stay on when the car is off? Wow totally opposite of what normally happens, but could be related.
