CARFAX shows my '02 Jetta as a GLS. Says it's a 2.0L L4 FI. I tried looking up the specs for my car (HP/TQ) as I was curious but it says the GLS was turbo'd with 180hp/174tq ... the car in question is definitely not a 180hp car maybe a 115hp car though (GL perhaps, not GLS)? I'm not sure what the misunderstanding is but I wouldn't think CARFAX is incorrect with the trim (maybe an accident, but not the trim).

I have a 99 jetta with the 2.0 and the vin shows it as a GLS.

Hope that helps. seems all GLS's are not turbo.
