my 1997 volkswagen jetta trek wont start and i dont know why. does anyone have any ideas

 

alternator? ignition? battery? do your lights come on at all?

if the lights come on you may need a new alternator or ignition.

if nothing happens at all when you turn the key you might need a new battery.




if its none of that then i have no idea.

 

I had a 1997 that did that I went to the gasstation and when I came out nothing (this is what happen I had spark but not hot enough to start the car so I got a new coil all good to go
