Default Buzzer when lights are left on

Hello all,

My buzzer that goes off when your lights are left on after you remove the key out of the ignition and open the door has stopped working any clue what it can be, light switch maybe?

Keep fogetting to turn the lights off...
Thanks

Pieter

yeah i was just gonna say i read about it last night . VW dealer ship claims its a 400 dollar fix, HA im not that dumb. Anyways it is integrated into the the actual latch but i can not seem to find the actual switch to replace it. All i find is the entire mechanism which is around 130 dollars. I have no idea if the switch is replaceable its self or if the entire latch needs done. Does anyone know? Also i read about how someone sprayed some WD-40 into the latch and then slammed the door and it loosened the switch up and it started working.
