Hi guys. New to this forum. I'm about to buy a 2000 Jetta GLS. I know they are good cars and all...but the only question I have is if it is true that the Newer VW's are expensive to repair. Are they car's the DIY fella can do?

Let me know what you all think about the second to newest Jetta. Maybe things you think I should know about them.
