Default busted hole in oil pan

I hit a rock with my 2003 Jetta 1.8T and it busted a hole in the oil pan. Does anyone know of a good place to get a replacement pan?
Thanks.

Hey man

Sorry to hear that..I would think you might find one either on ebay or a wrecking yard.

I have mine replace at car shop, costed me $740, the parts are about $300, include the oil pan itself and the sealing. It nearly made me broke, but I looked on the brighter side, the car shop put on an oil pan for Audi coz they made a mistake in their inventory.

I personally don't suggest to DYI on this.

Best way to find a salvage yard. If you're a half-way decent mechanic and know what is expected to complete the job, you could do it in about an hour. Paying for a brand new one, or getting Audi parts when it's VW, just isn't great. Price check and make sure it fits before you get too deep.
