Default brake lights

All my brake lights stopped working this morning. I replaced the right one on Friday, and everything worked fine. I went to work this morning and I have no brake lights, fuses are good, but I dunno if there's a switch or something that tells the lights when to come on? I'm hoping to get this fixed cause I don't want another ticket. Thanx in advance!

Default RE: brake lights

I'm replying to my own post, in case no one else knows this, it's helpful information and I'd like to pass it along.

My brake lights don't work as of right now, and EPC light came on. I looked up and it stands for Electronic Power Control. This controls the brake light switch, among just a few other things, and that's why I have no brake lights. It's a VW recall and the dealership SHOULD replace it for free being it's a recall. Dealership by me is doing mine, I have to go down there after work to get it done, and they said it was a quick fix. For those of you who didn't know this, this is a handy piece of info to have, for those that did know this...please disregard. Anyone has any other helpful info to share, please do...thanx!
