Default Blowing radio fuse in Jetta

Everytime I go to turn the key forward on my 89 Jetta, the radio fuse blows. I've disconnected the deck and terminated all wires and it still does it. Any ideas what this might be? I am assuming short circuit somewhere but where should I look?

i have had some problems with things of this nature be for but not with the radio. there might be a realy for that (not sure) of so pull it out give it a good shake around (if is burned get a new one) and then put in back in. also you could look near the fuse box area for any melted or blacked wires. ALSO!! check to make sure that it is the right size fuse and not to small.
