Default Bad paint

Was told from dealer that paint is flaking and primer is showing due to bird dropings and acid rain. Any one else have thes problems. I own 2004 TDI jetta blue in color. Clear coat is gone and seeing primer. If so what was done about it. Thanks.

Ive got an 2002 Jetta and my paint was having some similar problems.I had a small scratch on the hood and i took it through the car wash and i guess the sun hit it the wrong way and out of nowhere it started coming off like crazy.

Paint shouldn't do that for such a new car, thecause is MOre than likely because the clear was applied with a wrong mixture or ratio. I would take it in it could easily be considered a warranty issue. They should repaint for free.
