is the backup camera now standard on ALL VWs?
I have had several VWs over the years and have enjoyed them. I am looking to possibly get another one. Probably a Jetta, but will see. Do ANY of the newer VWs NOT have a backup camera?
We have other cars with backup cameras. I NEVER use them & I don't trust them. I just prefer looking behind instead. I am NOT interested in having a backup camera so I can then upgrade the stereo easier with a new head unit. I have done this myself with several past VWs and would like to continue doing so, but having a factory backup camera makes it more challenging. I realize I could probably get an aftermarket stereo with a backup camera feature, but again, not interested in those. Plus, a VW with no backup camera would probably be a base model and be cheaper anyway.
