About 4 years ago we purchased a 2006 VW Jetta TDI. It came with a Radio Navigation System, including Satellite Radio XM, including a free 3-month subscription. When that complimentary service expired, we opted to NOT renew then. However, now we want to activate it. XM service requires a Radio Code in order to do this, and said we have to go to Channel 1 on the radio to do this. But now for some reason when you change the bands, the XM bands are no longer there. And under settings, the SAT options are grayed out. Does anyone know (1) how we can get then satellite to appear again? And alternatively, how to find the radio code so we can get it re-activated if we can't get to the SAT feature?
