AC not cold
I have a 2006 Jetta 2.5
It has about 106k miles.
I notice when I turn on the car, it takes a good 5-10 mins before the AC gets cold. I took it in to my shop who charged me $100 to do a AC service. He filled the freon because he said it was low and checked for leaks. No leaks.
But afterwards, the Jetta still takes 5-10 mins before it gets cold. I called the shop and he says it has something to do with the center console and the door not opening. But I explained that that has nothing to do with the side vents (driver and passenger side) He seems to think that the middle section and the levers not opening all the way, affects the entire AC system, including the sides. I think I am getting the runaround.
Does anyone else have this issue?
