Default 98 jetta power door locks

Hey... i drive a 98 jetta and when i lock my doors with my key or pwer lock switch the motor for the locks (sounds like its in the trunk) keeps running for approx. 5 mins before it shuts off and it only locks my two front door locks. Any ideas on why it is doin this? thanx for your anticipated help. i'm out of ideas.

the reason why it keeps on running for a long time because the locking system works with air, and builds pressure to lock the doors, maybe one of your pressure lines going to your rear doors is leaking, its usually a yellow line when you take the door panels off, mine was leaking, it just didnt have a good enough connection, I put silicone and it was solved. When there is a leak, the motor works twice as hard and works alittle longer than usually... good luck

(correct me if im wrong)
