96 jetta alarm system

96 jetta alarm system

I recently purchased a 96 jetta with a dead battery. When I try to install a new battery the alarm goes off. I can't shut it off!!!!!! Doe's anyone know how to install a new battery in this car?????

hook up battery lock and unlock dr door
if that dosnt work you have broken wires in doorjam

Tryed that with no luck. Checked the wiring harness where they pass through the doors, all o.k. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

that should work
as the alarm is going off lock and unlock doors with the key
