i believe the sunroof came off track last night because i was able to get it almost all the way closed with an alan wrench, and something popped. the track is now broken and i am not sure about the cables, also the motor doesn't work... im going to try to replace the whole sunroof assembly. so my question is, will a sunroof from a 95-98 vr6 fit in my car? or will i have to find a 95 gl?

 

My gut feeling is they are the same. You can 1. search for this part on the internet and see if you get same result by using GL and GLX; 2. call local junk yards and ask them, of course you can call dealers too.

I've seen people disassemble the whole thing and only replace the part needed.
