Default '94 2.0L oil pressure

having light issues with my jetta. I am running the OEM filter and changed both oil sending units.

With 10w30 my light stays on when warm. With 15w40 light is on inconsistency. I checked pressure tonight and it is about 22psi at normal temp and idle. I see my Haynes manual says 29psi and 2200 RPM and normal temp.... guessed i should have read that first....
What are your thoughts? Is my pressure ok or should i drop the pan and check the pick up and pump gear clearance?

Hey guys I'm going through the same thing with my '95 Jetta. I too have replaced both sensors and I've also replaced the oil pump but that annoying beep, beep, beep of the oil light keeps on going when warm unless I down shift or rev the motor. If you guys can help me it would save my sanity. Thanks
