New member here, not sure if this issue had been posted before or not, just trying to get some insight to my current situation(not mechanically inclined at all).Noticed I had lost all boost on my Jetta one day while driving, epc light came on as well. Took my car to the shop for a diagnostic test, they told me the turbo booster lever was broke and I needed to replace my turbo. Said it would be around 2000+ to fix my car. I’ve tried researching and can’t find anything on the turbo booster lever. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

Which scanner did this garage use a generic scanner or VAG-COM\VCDS?
