Default 2007 Jetta horn on lock

My parents have a 2007 Jetta, Wolfsburg Edition, and it has a very annoying trait. There seems to be absolutely no way to lock the doors without the horn sounding:

- Pushed the inside lock button and closed the doors? Horn.
- Locked the driver door by turning the physical key? Horn.
- The most interesting one: locked the car with the hood open. Closed the hood. Horn.

Is there any way to disable this "feature"? My wife and I have a 2007 Nissan Versa and a 1999 Chevy Malibu, both with remote controls, and both of those can be locked with zero horn noise...

Thanks

my 04 jetta does the same thing, i dont think is a way to dissconnect it with out dissconnecting the actualt horn. None the less it would be hard to find that wire becuase everything in a jetta is run with a computer.
