2006 Jetta aux button

2006 Jetta aux button
I just bought a 2005 Jetta a few days ago. It has an aux jack, but I have no idea what button/input button to push to get it to play through the cars sound system. I've read that pushing the cd button twice or holding it down will get it to play, but it hasn't worked for me. Any other suggestions?

Which radio model do you have fitted and what do you want to plug in the Aux socket?
