1. Had to pass state inspection, got new tires at pepboys, they didn't balance the tires, went back, changed thermostat due to check engine light, soon as I left, cylinder misfire, they claim it was spark plugs, reset the code, drove fine for about a week, car lost power all 4 cylinders misfired plus mass airflow too low. Changed out 3 spark plugs, the last one is hard to reach, same thing. Some of the hoses were wrapped with duct tape , one was coming off after pepboys broke off a part, depressing, not sure what to do.

Don't use pepboys if they don't balance wheels after fitting tyres and can't remove spark plugs without breaking something.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing.
