2003 Jetta 2.0 burning oil

2003 Jetta 2.0 burning oil

My jetta is at about 96k, for the past 6k it goes through oil crazy fast- I have to add 1.5 qts between 3k oil changes. There is no leak. Is this normal? Suggestions?
