Advise me please!,


Im a recently new owner of a 2002 VW Jetta 2.0L, it has 205k mi...

My drivers side front floorboard is soaking wet... I think its after it rains, but not sure thats the only time it happens...

Also, my car use to make this disturbingly loud/different fan noise for 5-10 seconds. Sometimes, when I start it up but definately when i turn the engine off. It sounds like a jet airplane powering down. even after the key is totally removed.... & honestly I dont know how i have missed the sound, BUT Its not making it anymore!!

Do the 2 issues have a common ground.. or ...?

Anyways, Please HELP!

Well I don't know bout the leak, but the jet engine noise is defenitly ur secondary air pump it's going bad... It's located right by ur ignition coil. If u know where ur air intake is theirs a hose connection on the side of it follow it and it will lead u to it...
