Exclamation 2002 Jetta 2.0 Misfire

I drive a 2002 VW Jetta 2.o 4cyl. It's been through hell and back thanks to my ability to savalge it's *** each and every time. However, i've come upon an issue I just can't seem to correct.

Whenever it rains (drizzle, shower, downpour, hurricane) my Jetta misfires like crazy. I've already replaced the plugs (3 different sets), wires (2 different sets), and the coil (after I tried sealing the original with epoxy).

I have no idea what else to relace or what else to check. One of the many out there whom have had this issue must have resolved it by now. Of not, does anyone have anyone else have any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of is a bit of bare wire being exposed. If that's not it I guess try taping up the harness plugged in to the coil with some electrical tape.
