2002 Jetta 1.8t shakes when accelerating
I found a couple other threads on this throughout the web but they were all pretty old and none of them conclusive. I'm hoping someone here might know what the issue is, or have had the same issue themselves and were able to fix it.
For the last couple of months, my car has been shaking when I accelerate. It gets worse at high speeds and when going around turns. As soon as I let off the gas and coast, it feels fine. It's only when I accelerate. It feels like it is coming from the front driver's side. I don't feel like it is getting worse, but I've had my tires balanced, and the front wheel replaced since it started and none of those things did anything to help. Like I said, it's only when accelerating. Idle, coasting, etc, it's all fine. I have to drive quite a bit everyday so it's rather annoying and I'd like to get it fixed ASAP as I know it can't be good for the car, or my gas mileage for that matter.
If you have any ideas please let me know.
