Default 1994 JettaIII

I'm sure there is someone out there just like me who is having an impossible time finding parts for the rare Jetta III. It got so bad for me not finding parts I'm selling my baby. She still runs and I was thinking someone from here may want parts for theirs rather than let it be junked and crushed. Any takers?

I suppose it's just up here in the midwest that these cars are hard to find. When Im looking for parts I can only seem to find them from VW.[:-]$80 for door handles who can afford that? Ive called every junk yard in a 50 mile radius looking for dash peices, door handles, glove box handles, and I can't find them. After researching how much it would cost to fix my car I got the grand total of $2600 just to stop a water leak, add a muffler and fix the cosmetics. Way too expensive for a 180k mile car. I tried to put an add in the paper for $600 and that just seemed to be too much because I only got a couple calls and no one really interested. WHo knows maybe its just cuz our economy is F***ed right now. I dunno I'm just really sick of looking at her. It depresses me to see such a beautiful car just sit in the driveway wanting some TLC

Jetta 3 isnt that rare, there are plenty of sites that carry parts for it, have you tried ebay, ecstuning.com, autohausaz.com?
Like I said, the internet is a wonderful thing
