Having problems with 1993 Jetta automatic transmission and/or sensor whenever it rains. During and right after a period of rain, the Jetta will not accelerate. The engine RPMs will respond to the pressure on the gaspedal, but the car will begin to slow down. There is no restriction on the travel of the shifter and the car will shift from gear to gear including reverse. Once the car has been running for a while or during non-rainy days, there is no noticible problem. I haven't been able to cross this problem with any TSBs.
