Default 1.6L td has NO *****

Hey i just joined the forum cuz i need to know why my MKII 1.6td jetta has absolutely no power and i see these other jettas and they seem to get by just fine. my mid rpm has no power and when i finally get up to the higher rpm's i have enough power to just go faster than normal traffic. Its ridiculous! [:@]It's not even that i don't go extremely fast, its that i can barely beat a civic off the line when they are driving normal traffic speed. I know its a very general post but i was wonderin if any of u guys had any advice of what might have deteriorated on my car or if there are even any small mods i can do to give my car with no ***** a little pep.

you should feel like the thottle is pressed down when you are at the same place on it
kind of like a powerband on a 2 stroke motor cycle
