I have a 03 Jetta 2.0 9close to 140,000 miles) and the check engine light came on a while ago. It gave me a code of 420 indicating "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)". That is the only code being read although my car overheats if driven over 15 minutes and the car does not blow heat if turned on. Only time car blows heat is when it over heats. Also there has been a noticable loss of power in the car when driving. There is coolant in the car and there are no leaks at all. What could/should be done to fix this problem???
