Default 03 Jetta Airbag Light

I just had a new cd player installed and now my airbag light is on. Any ideas on how to reset this?

You didn't have the steering wheel off did you?

You could have disturbed other connections in the process. You really need to find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to do an Autoscan and see what error codes come back as it could have been a coincidence, you could have other errors that you don't know about because they don't all put the MIL light on.

So where are you located?

There is the Vag-Com Locator Map but they are never up to date. Alot of forums have their own Vag-Com Locator but again they aren't always current.

I also have the same problem with the airbag light, but we remove the steering wheel when we were replacing the switches
