Default 02 Jetta 1.8t Help

I have had this car for little while now. I absolutely love it. Just recently I have noticed a hose (leading to the engine)is ruptured on several spots. I am not a mechanic nor I know much about cars. Can someone please let me know what this hose does and how to replace it? Is this an urgent matter? I do not have an actual image of my engine block but I have found this image online. The red arrow points to the hose which needs to be replaced. I included the link below. Thank you very much in advance. All the help is greatly appreciate it.

Looks like it goes too the Turbo. If you can find a mechanic that can physically look at it,..he'll tell you for sure. Doesn't seem like a big deal cause it looks easy too get at. If its not broke don't fix it,....but preventive maintainance is usually your best route.

thats a hose for your pcv system. I wouldnt recommend replacing it with oem, its like $90 hose. If you look on vwortex, theres a DIY for an oil catch can thats much cheaper and you'll have a catch can. but id fix it somehow no matter what if you dont do the catch can, find some way to replace the hose, cuz thats kind of neccessary
