Exclamation Vw polo 1.9 tdi 1998 doesnt start

Hi boys, i have POLO 1.9 TDI 1998. This is problem: The car doesnt start if the Warm Up Lamp doesnt flash. When i turn on key and i dont wait for Warm Up Lamp lamp to flash and i start the car, it doesnt start. Then i need to turn on key and wait like 1 to 5 minutes to Warm Up Lamp to flash on, and then the car starts.

But yesterday i made mistake, i didint wait for Warm Up Lamp and the car didint start again, so as usually turned on key and waited for spiral to Warm Up Lamp, after 4 minutes spiral flashed, my car didnt start! .

What is the problem, please help me
Thank u boys!

Well, you always have to wait for the glow plug light to go on before you start the car. May be that the glow plugs are going bad since it takes them so long to warm up. I am no diesel expert though.
