pretty sure i blew the front tweeter in my GTI the other day, i cracks and pops alot like basically all the time. how do you remove the cover? i'm pretty sure i need to remove the door panel but i thought i would ask incase any of you guys have actually replaced them...

i need to get the cover off on the inside of the side mirror

sorry it took so long, i took a quick look and from what i can see youll need to remove the screw on the door panel around the corner facing the door jam. its there just below the speaker cover. that should free up the corner of the door panel enough for you to pull out the spaeker cover or see what else needs to be done to do so. Let me know how it goes i hope this helped

 

anyone know what size the tweeters are in the door to buy replacements?
