i have an 07 GTI and was wondering if anyone knew how to take off the rims? i want to paint them but haveno idea how to get them off.

my cars black and i just want to paint them black. my friend did his on hisIS300and it came out really well.

 

its gonna chip and/or flake unless you pu like a million coats on, id spend a few and get them powder coated. itll come out much better. anyway are you trying to get the wheels off the car or off the rims?
I hope you know how to get them off the car, but off the rims take it to a tire shop, itll be about 10 bucks a wheel or so

 

yea. i didnt realize that u had to take off the little cover in the middle. i know im a dumba$$. my bad
