Default Starting Problems With 1996 GTI

When i wake up in the morning the car starts right up. Once i am at school my car sits in the parking lot for about 6 hours. If it is a hot day out, around 70 degrees or hotter, it wont start up. When i turn the key it makes some what of a clicking/squeeling sound. It starts up perfectly fine any other time, but when it is hot outside it wont start. The car has only been sitting in a parking lot for about 6 hours and it starts up fine in the morning. Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong.
