I'd be very grateful if another Golf GTI Mk5 owner out there (with standard Denver wheels fitted), could let me know what the standard operating tyre pressures for their vehicle is. (Tyre size 225/45/R17).

This is because, I've just bought an ex-demonstrator Golf GTI Mk5 which originally came with the 'Detroit' style low profile alloys fitted. However, I had the Denver wheels put back on and suspect the tyre pressure values printed behind the fuel filler cap are likely the values for the previous alloys/tyres.
