Hi, I have a VW Golf MK4 GT TDI 130 and have a metal scraping noise coming from an area which looks like the front driver side wheels. It only seems to happen when I am driving and turn left.
There is nothing hanging lose from beneath. I have had it checked by Kwik Fit and another mechanic and they cant seem to see anything. I have even had new brakes and disk put on the front wheels and its not any better.
Any ideas?

Have you checked your wheel bearings at all? that might be a possibility.

 

I also don't know what happened.
