So I've been wanting a GTi for a few years now...I was going to look at this used 2010 GTI, but when I check out the CARFAX...there seems to be repair issues. Almost every other month something was done to either door sills, door weatherstrips...electrical wiring, windshield...ect ect

IS this normal for the first few years of these cars, and just part of "ironing out the kinks" , or did the owner trade it in just before the 36,000 mile warranty is about to expire? should I steer clear?

Well you can Google for good or bad comments on the GTI, don't always believe what you read.

No disrespect to this forum but there are quite a few Golf GTI forums, I'm on 3 of them you better off search those for common faults.
