MY 2002 GTI had the engine light on for a code #1176 my manaul book saids oxygen sensor at limit, and online saids its a manufacture fuel air mixture issue ,
using my Mac TaskMaster I found the sensor is functioning, I cleared the code to see if it would come back again after driving , its been over a week now , and still no engine light yet,
I have noticed that i have excess of exhaust even when engine is at tempature and outside temp is above 5 degrees, (mild weather)

Has anybody dought with this before and whats the best action to take? where should i go from here ? if im running rich i cant really tell because my fuel mileage has been the same .AND Whats the best way to find a intake/air leak?? hope to hear back from one of u guys thanks
