Hey everyone.
I just bought a 2014 Jetta TDI a few months ago. Last night I plugged the block heater in and went inside my house. We went out for dinner to come home to find my garage on fire. The entire car went in flames. It started from the block heater where you plug the car in.

Has anyone else had this issue? or something similar???

I've never heard of this happening. Where do you live Canada as they are fitted as standard there?

Well if its the factory fit block heater claim under warranty.
