Default 2002 gti vacuum-leak issues

New here and have a few questions. I JUST bought a 2002 GTI 1.8T with 40K on it. When I bought the car it had a check engine light on which was fixed before I took delivery of the car. It said (bank one) system too lean. The MAF sensor was bad, as well as a pcv line and air filter. LIght stayed off for a day or so and cameback on again yesterday. I took it back in...(it was the identical code by the way)...and the techs found that there was another broken vacuum hose that was replaced. I took the car home and it ran wonderfully...Until laer when I went to the mall. Coming out I started the car...and it idled very roughly. It skips around between 500 and 800 rpms...sounds like the engine is bubbling or choking. No noticeable loss of power once going....but when the car idles it acts like it wants to die. No CEL yet, but I would assume there is a pending code on tghe ECU. COuld this be another vacuum issue?? I have had the car 3 days and this will be the third time in the shop...
