I just did some stereo work on my girlfriends GTI. Now, when I put it in reverse a buzzer comes on. Only in reverse though. I know it didn't do this before..any ideas? Also, the fuse block is missing fuse 8, 7 and 16 I think it is, but I can't find anywhere to tell me what size fuse it is and what its for. Thinking maybe one could be glow plugs, so not applicable for hers (1.8 T). Anyhelp would be appreciated!

 

Thats possible. On the inside of the fuse box cover or somewhere around the fuse box there should be a diagram with a list of fuse #'s and their amperage. Hope this helps. If shes the original owner and theyre missing though it could very well be from optional equipment or something similar. Not sure about the buzzer ive never heard of that after stereo work. Let us know what it was.
