i am new to the VW world and was wondering what the letters like GLS and such mean....or if there is a site i can go to to quickly read this stuff.

i know TDi means Turbo Diesel Injected.

g'day mate i don't actually know to much about the meanings either but i know my golf was a GLD and is now a GLS conversion. Before is was diesel and now it isn't so i am presuming the D in GLD is diesel. I also know that the GLS is one model up from the LS but i am still learning myself. Sorry for not explaining a bit more but glad i can help a little bit.
